Our purpose with Mezcal

Mezcal is more than a distilled spirit—it is a cultural expression of Mexico. Each region, each maestro mezcalero, and each palenque brings a unique story, shaped by tradition, geography, and community. From the slow cooking of the agave to open-air fermentation and copper distillation, mezcal remains one of the few spirits in the world still crafted with such profound respect for heritage and craft.

The diversity of agaves, climates, and local techniques ensures that no two mezcales are ever the same. This makes mezcal not just a drink, but a journey through the landscapes and traditions of Mexico.

In every bottle, mezcal carries the soul of its land and the dedication of the people who produce it. It is both a legacy to be preserved and a global ambassador of Mexican culture.

The legend of Duna del Sol

Mezcal Duna del Sol was born from the legend of a maestro mezcalero who, after years of traveling across Oaxaca in search of the finest wild agaves, created his masterpiece: a mezcal with unique notes that reflected the very essence of Oaxacan land. To celebrate his creation, he carried the bottle to the dunes of Chipehua—his final destination—where the wind creates a melody in the note “Sol” as it brushes against the sand. Yet, a sudden gust of wind caused the bottle to roll away and vanish among the dunes, and despite his tireless search, the maestro never managed to recover it.
